Background
British Curling (BC) is responsible for delivering performance and creating a climate in which British Curlers can win medals on the world stage.
BC recognises the necessity within modern performance sport for professional leadership and support when seeking performance excellence at major sporting events. BC views such professional leadership as essential to the success of the performance plan and operational at a variety of organisational levels. The current Board was appointed on a competency-based system and has been an integral component in overseeing the strategy and implementation of the Performance Programme.
Olympic and Paralympic medals will be the foremost measure of success in this next Olympiad. BC is now in a position to advertise for Board level positions to take the organisation and British Curling forward to Sochi 2014 and provide a sustainable legacy for 2018
Finance and Ordinary Directors
To support the proactive work of the Board of BC the company is looking to appoint a Financial Director and up to four Ordinary Directors. Further information on these roles is available on request.
