Athletes from all over the country are currently training hard for the opportunity to be part of Team GB and compete at London 2012. These Olympic hopefuls are being supported by the Team 2012 programme.

1,200 Athletes

Team 2012 is an elite athlete fundraising programme, bringing together 1,200 athletes from 47 Olympic and Paralympic sports and disciplines hoping to represent Great Britain & Northern Ireland at the London 2012 Games.

Along the way, they will train for thousands of hours and compete at national and international championships. With the help of Team 2012, they will have access to a world-class programme of support as they prepare for the once in a lifetime opportunity to represent their country at London 2012.
