A sport that demands exceptional concentration and a strong mental approach. Olympic shooting events are split into three categories. The pistol events are held at a shooting range with competitors firing at targets from a distance of 10 metres, 25 metres or 50 metres.

At 14 years and 81 days old Daley will be Team GB's youngest Olympian since 1960. He is the current European Champion BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year. He won silver at the 2007 Youth Olympics.

K-1 500m

- Lives: Walton-on-Thames
Brabants is the current World and European Champion in the K1 1000m event. He is also a qualified doctor with an Olympic bronze medal from Sydney 2000.
