The British number one will compete in both the singles and, alongside his brother Jamie, in the doubles for Team GB in Beijing.
Murray is a left-handed doubles specialist who will partner younger brother Andy for Team GB in Beijing. He won the 2007 Wimbledon mixed doubles title with Serbia's Jelena Jankovic.
2007 World Champion Christine goes to the Beijing Olympic Games with gold medal aspirations in the women's 400m.
A talented basketball player who was converted to triple jump by a teacher. Won a gold at the Commonwealth Games in 2006. Beijing will be his third Olympic Games.
Mark begins his Olympic Challenge after an excellent Tour de France 08 campaign
Helen became the 2008 Triathlon World Champion following an excellent tactical race in Vancouver.
At just 25, Middleton has a World Cup, a Commonwealth Games, four European Championships and two Olympics under his belt.
At 14 years and 81 days old Daley will be Team GB's youngest Olympian since 1960. He is the current European Champion BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year. He won silver at the 2007 Youth Olympics.
Took bronze medal at Athens 2004 after a dramatic match which went down to the last arrow. Never finished outside the top ten in her four Olympic games.
Brabants is the Olympic Champion in the Men's K1 (kayak single) 1000m event. He is also a qualified doctor with an Olympic bronze medal from Sydney 2000. In 2008 Tim won his first Olympic medal in the Men's K1 500m event.
