Amazing days

By Lynne Paskaleff, 55, London 00:32 20/8/2008

Team GB - I'm not even British though i live here but have to say the last few days have been absolutely inspirational to watch. When Christine was running today you could hear the screams of encouragement from people watching it in their houses from our back window. Well done on such fantastic achievments. Special mention to Louis Smith and Germaine Mason - both unexpected and well deserved medalists. Meanwhile come on the girls!

To Michael Rimmer.

By Rob Burrow, 58, Southport 19:20 19/8/2008

As Head Coach for Southport Waterloo when you applied to join us I recognised your fabulous talent aged 10. I have fond memories of the first race you ran in at Blackpool when you travelled in my car wearing Andrews vest over your tee shirt and my wife's spikes. You won that and came up to me as timekeeper to ask if you had done ok. Well you had then and you have now. Lots of luck for your Olympics and Live the Dream. Love from Jan, Andy and Rob Burrow.
