Section heading - Biography

Formerly a County level swimmer, Jemma had a brilliant junior career as an 800m runner, but missed the whole of her first year as a senior due to a foot and hamstring injury.

In 2006 she made her first sub-2 minute run, 1:59.99 for 2nd at Heusden.

Jemma has appeared as an extra in the soap Neighbours and in the film the Da Vinci Code.

Her mother competed for Great Britain in the World and European Championships at karate. Jemma has a degree in English and Media from St Mary’s University College.
