 Andy Baddeley made his Olympic debut at the Beijing 20080 Olympic Games.  He qualified for the final and finished ninth.

At the 2009 World Championships in Berlin, Baddeley, failed to qualify for the final after finishing 11th in his semi-final.

Baddeley established himself as Britain’s top miler in 2006 and has been a stalwart in major championships finals ever since his breakthrough.
