Tyrone Edgar made his Olympic debut at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.  He qualified for the semi-finals of the 100m and finished seventh.

At the 2009 World Championships in Berlin, Edgar qualified for the semi-final but was disqualified for a second false start.

Edgar has started to fulfil his potential by establishing himself as one of Britain’s finest exponents at the 100m. He went to college in Kansas in the USA, and in 2003 he ran an impressive wind assisted (+5.
