Alan Campbell competed in the men’s single scull Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. He qualified for the ‘A’ final and finished a creditable fifth.

At the 2009 World Championships in Poznan, Campbell in the men’s single scull captured silver, winning his first major championship medal.

He is GB's leading single sculler and has established himself as a strong and respected competitor in the solo world of the men's single.
