Section heading - Biography

Jo has become Britain’s first international-class walker for several years, as she has made rapid progress since taking up race walking in 2002 and winning an English Schools bronze medal just six weeks later.

As a cross-country runner she was 12th in the National U20 in 2004. She is now at the top of the GB all-time list with a 20k PB set in February 2008.

Jo’s hero is Paula Radcliffe and she cites the marathon as an event she would like to try one day.
