Team GB's sole fencing representative in Beijing. He secured selection with silver at the European qualification tournament in Istanbul, losing to Marcin Koniusz (POL) in the final.

Became GBR’s youngest World Champion aged 16 when he won u17 cadet title at 2005 World Junior Championships and is current Commonwealth senior and junior individual sabre champion.

Has just completed second year of a Classical Greek & Latin degree at Cambridge University where he captains the Fencing Club and also plays football and hockey for Churchill College.
