Penny Clark, 32, is one of Great Britain’s top female sailors. After several years as a Lieutenant Commander in the Royal Navy, Clark has been granted leave to pursue her dream of winning Gold at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

Clark previously campaigned for the Games in the Europe class (the former women’s single-handed boat), but the introduction of the Laser Radial for the 2008 Games rekindled her desire for Olympic glory, and she’s been challenging at the top of the fleet ever since rejoining the Olympic Classes circuit.
