A competitor at Athens 2004 Olympic Games, Jamie Staff was part of the gold medal winning, world record-breaking team sprint team at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
Staff was a BMX rider who had won just about everything from the World Championships downwards; however, at the end of 2001 he decided that wanted to win an Olympic medal. As BMX is not an Olympic sport, he turned his attention to track sprinting events.
He qualified for the Great Britain Cycling team at the first attempt and has since produced some stunning performances.
