Section heading - Biography

Andy was a talented footballer who played for Notts County as a youngster (despite being a Nottingham Forest supporter), and was once offered an England Rugby trial.

Andy was the only British athlete to win individual medals at both Commonwealth Games and European Championships in 2006.

Andy is quite proud of the fact that his A level results spell the word NUDE. His nickname used to be Greengrass (after the Heartbeat character) and he once appeared on the news as an 8 year old appealing for his local football pitch not to be built upon by developers.
