Why did you start participating in your sport?:

Outdoor sport, great in the summer. Great social environment, i've made some great friends

When and where did you start Canoeing?:

10 years. My sister was in the sport already

Memorable Achievement:

Junior Euro Champs 08 4th K2 500m, 6th K1 1000m, 7th K4 1000m. Junior worlds 07. 8th K4 500m

Ed is the current Junior Marathon World Champion in K2 with Tom Hide

Influential Person:

Tim Brabants. Tom has met Tim and has had many useful tips from sessions with him.

Notes:

Tom is looking forward to seeing the other sports at AYOF. And has had intense training, including– running, swimming and gym. Tom is spending more time keeping fit this way as at the moment it is too cold to train in the water.
