The highest honour any sportsperson can achieve is to represent one’s country. To represent Great Britain in the
Olympics will be the pinnacle of their career for many of the athletes going to Beijing. I know from experience, when taking part in sport abroad,
the knowledge that all those back home are rooting for the team in spirit if not in person is a truly inspirational lift.
Along with everyone else in the country I wish our team the very best of luck.

I’ll definitely be giving my support to Team GB this year.
Knowing that people back home are willing you to do your best is always a great boost
and I think the message board of inspiration is a great idea by the BOA.

When I’ve toured with England in tournaments overseas it’s always great to hear how much the country is behind
you and it will be great for Team GB to have a constant reminder of the support they have back home.
