Jason Kenny’s rise as a cyclist has been rapid. He progressed from competing in a domestic junior series straight to competing at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

 In Beijing, he won a gold medal in the team sprint and silver in the individual pursuit finishing behind teammate Chris Hoy

Prior to Beijing Kenny won multiple World and European Junior titles in 2006 and won two bronze medals at the U23 European Championships.
