Geraint Thomas was a member of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games in the Team pursuit.

 After winning gold in Beijing Thomas has now turned his focus to road cycling with his long term goal to compete and win at London 2012 Olympic Games.

Thomas started cycling after seeing an advert for the Maindy Flyers, a cycling club in South Wales, and decided to go along and try it out.
