Keri –Anne Payne swam the 10km Open Water event at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

In 2009, she went one better and won gold in the 10km open water swim in Rome at the Swimming World Championships.

Payne also swam in the 200m and 400m IM in Beijing.
