Tom Stallard is a former World Champion and a four -time Cambridge blue and represented Team GB in the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, and won an Olympic silver medal.

Stallard started rowing at the age of 13 with his father Matt who is a former University of London rower and well known as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon who has helped many rowers back to full fitness.

Stallard raced in the coxed four at the World Under-23 Championships in 1999, winning bronze, and in 2000 finishing fourth.
