Iain Percy is one of Great Britain’s most successful Olympic sailors. Adding to the gold medal he won at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games with a gold medal in the star class at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.  He also received an OBE in the 2009 New Years Honours list.

In 2009 Percy and his sailing partner Andrew Simpson, placed second at the star European Championships and later in the summer they went on to win gold at the Sail for Gold Regatta in Weymouth.
